NORTHERN CALIFORNIA FUNDRAISER
We are proud to be pouring from our wine collection for the First Annual Wine for a Cure. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, in collaboration with Zephyr Grill and Bar, will host Wine for a Cure on Sunday, November 9th, 2008 in Livermore. The night will showcase wine from the Livermore Valley and will be paired with culinary dishes.
The Wine for a Cure event will raise money to provide funds for the research necessary to find a cure for cystic fibrosis. Cystic fibrosis is a fatal, genetic disease that affects over 30,000 children and young adults in the United States. There are dozens of families here in the East Bay whom are dealing with this disease as well. We have lost several of our residents to cystic fibrosis, and we are looking to our community to help us find a cure before we lose any more of our children.
