Acceptance
Lay my head down -
this is the
Moment of my Death
i wait, serene and peaceful
Death creeps up on me
like evening fog
swirling ‘round my feet
Hope and Fear take wing
seeking a needier soul
Solace puts her arm around me
caresses my cheek;
Courage holds my hand
i stop stuggling against these bindings
it is the Moment of my Death -
this is Wonderful.
